I haven't had the chance to tell you, but we pigged out on your pies that you brought to us in Barcelona, and they were delicious.
My fave was the Beef Bourguignon, followed by the Pork or the Leek and Potato.
Jen's parents and Jen also really loved them - and the Europeans (at least, these Germans) aren't big pie eaters.

It was the pork pie. I didn't realise, but I'd never had a pork pie before. When I hit the pickle, it was glorious. Gracious, but that pie was good! (secret: I ate part of it before my last class and straight out of the fridge, the part AFTER class that was room temperature was the most glorious part...especially when I hit the blessed pickle)

Just thought I'd give you some feedback on the pie test last night. Pie / 4 left as a remainder an infinitely small number of crumbs. Everyone ate their piece... It was very nice - a notable difference between that and the more industrial versions. I'll order some more at some point.

The only way to describe the chicken and ham masterpiece is irresistible! Got home, cut off one eighth, ate it….the jelly was perfect!! So I promptly had another eighth and saved the three quarters left over in the fridge. Well, three quarters is an awkward shape so one hour later I decided to cut it to a much pleasanter shape ie. half. Well, to cut a long story short, the chicken and ham pie didn’t see the light of Sunday…it was incredible!
